A former human services academic and executive, Pamela’s career spans senior leadership, human resources, organisational development, tertiary education and leadership coaching. The Unseen Work of Leadership

AN ORIGINAL FRAMEWORK BY DR PAMELA WEATHERILL

The Leadership Success Framework

The Leadership Success Framework brings together five capabilities that shape effective leadership: Lead Self, Lead Others, Communicate Effectively, Focus on Results and Improve Continuously. Pamela developed and refined it through more than 20 years in leadership, human resources, organisational development and coaching.

Its central idea is simple: no leadership strength remains wise when it stands alone. Care can become rescue. Composure can become concealment. Results can obscure human cost.

The framework underpins The Unseen Work of Leadership, where fifteen original legends reveal each pillar’s gift, shadow and relationship with the others—then carry the lesson into practical leadership.

What if the leadership strengths we trust most are also capable of undoing us?

Pamela’s current manuscript, The Unseen Work of Leadership: Why Leaders Still Need Legends, brings together 15 original legends and the five pillars of her Leadership Success Framework.

Through a reimagined mythological world, the book explores both the gift and the shadow of leadership strengths. Self-control can become concealment. Care can become rescue. Communication can hide the truth. Results can lose sight of their human cost. Improvement can leave nothing feeling complete.

Each legend helps readers recognise what may be shaping their leadership beneath the surface, then carries that insight into practical reflection and contemporary organisational life.

The manuscript is being developed for publication and is available for discussion with interested editors and publishers.
